# Claude + Obsidian Vault Kit

A starter Obsidian vault for running a small business with Claude. It is a folder of plain Markdown notes: a home page, templates for clients, projects and content, a weekly review, a prompt library, and a `CLAUDE.md` file that tells Claude how to work in the vault.

Nothing here needs a plugin or an account with us. Your notes stay in this folder on your computer and open in Obsidian without an internet connection. Claude needs internet and your own Claude account.

## Setup (about five minutes)

1. **Install Obsidian.** Download it from https://obsidian.md and install it.
2. **Unzip this kit** somewhere you keep documents, for example your Documents folder. You get a folder called `Vault Kit`. Rename it if you like, for example to your business name.
3. **Open the folder as a vault.** In Obsidian, choose **Open folder as vault** and pick the folder. Open [[Home]].

What you will finish

The finished project

An Obsidian vault for your business: a note per client and per project, a dated weekly review, a prompt library, and a CLAUDE.md that tells Claude to keep your client's own words, leave a missing figure blank and draft messages rather than send them.

The kit's real Client template (who they are, the problem in their words, agreed work, a conversation log) and its Weekly Review (inbox, clients, projects, money "only numbers you can check", content, decisions, three priorities). The kit ships templates, not a filled-in example client.

What you'll be able to do

A folder of plain Markdown notes: templates, a weekly review, a prompt library, and a CLAUDE.md that tells Claude how to behave inside the vault. It needs no plugins and no extra software beyond Obsidian and Claude.

  • Keep clients, projects and content in one place Claude can read and help maintain.
  • Run a weekly review: inbox, clients, projects, checkable money figures, three priorities.
  • Start from 16 original prompts, from defining an offer to a pre-delivery check.
  • Give Claude house rules: never invent numbers, never store secrets, draft messages instead of sending them.

Exactly what you get

In the box

  • Vault (zip of Markdown notes) · 10 notes: 4 at the top level, 6 across 5 folders
  • README · Five-minute setup
  • Prompt library · 16 prompts
  • CLAUDE.md · Rules for Claude inside the vault

Human review is the method

The approval step, shown

  1. The request

    Everything in Inbox/ needs sorting.

  2. The draft

Claude proposes where each item belongs, an existing client or project note, a new content idea, or delete, with a one-line reason each.

  3. It stops here for review

Claude shows the full plan as a list and waits for your yes before moving, creating or deleting anything.

  4. If you approve

Claude makes the moves you agreed to.

  5. If nobody answers

    Nothing moves.

What this control doesn't do. CLAUDE.md is an instruction Claude is asked to follow, not a lock. Read the plan before you say yes, and keep a copy of the vault.

Help

What help is included

Access help

  • A lost access page: write from the address you paid with and the link is sent to that address.
  • A download link that has expired: open your access page again; it makes fresh links each time.
  • A file that won't download, unzip or open.

What you can report

  • A mistake in the material: a step that doesn't match what the product says, or a broken link inside a file.
  • A workflow or starter file that doesn't import, run or give the result its guide shows when you use the guide's own made-up test data.
  • Questions about what a product contains, before or after you buy.

Not included

  • Setting up, hosting or adapting a workflow or agent for your own business, accounts or data. That is implementation work, not part of a purchase.
  • Changes in other companies' tools (n8n, Docker, Obsidian, Claude, Google, Stripe). Each guide says when its screens were last checked and points to the tool's own help.
  • Legal, tax, financial or medical advice.

Reporting a broken workflow

  1. Write from the address you paid with, through the contact page, and include your Stripe receipt number if you have it.
  2. Name the product and the lesson, chapter or file.
  3. Say what you did, what the guide says you should see, and what you saw instead. Paste the exact error text.
  4. Never send passwords, API keys or a real customer's details. Use the guide's made-up test data.

When to expect a reply

Miro replies by email within 2 business days.
